This collection contains personal diaries and family reminiscences of Amish and Mennonites in the United States and Paraguay. Included in the collection are David Z. Esh Jr.'s Franklin County or bust: 275 miles with two horses and a spring wagon (1972); Diary of Leah (Beiler) Fisher (1921); biography of Issac Huyard, 1867-1940; Farm hand's diary (Charles Loomis, 1940); Paraguay Amishman's diary (1973-76); Pequea Creek Gang (L. Fisher, 1974); Small history of Daniel E. Petersheim (1989); and Early experience (Lichty Family, copied by Benj. S. Summy). The collection contains such remembrances as: Emma K. Stoltzfus' The flood of 1972, Memories of my parents by John J. Stoltzfus (1983), Rachel K. Stoltzfus's Summer vacation of 1977, Verna Zook Stoltzfus's remembrance of Joshua K. and Rachel Yoder, and Floyd P. Yoder's Golden memories of yesterday (1991).
